Citizen Input Needed to Help Shape the Future Direction of the City of Streetsboro
City seeking involvement in 2013 Master Plan Update Citizen’s Survey
The City of Streetsboro is in the process of updating the City’s 2009 Master Plan. The Master Plan will analyze existing conditions and work to formulate goals and policy suggestions that will impact the future direction of the City.
The City recently completed development of a Citizen’s Survey to solicit input from individuals living and/or working in the City. Citizen input provided through completion of the survey is essential in determining the future direction of development in the City. The 30 question survey is very similar to the one administered for the 2009 Master Plan planning process in order to gauge changing perception of similar elements over time. The survey includes a combination of personal questions geared toward gaining an understanding of respondents’ demographic characteristics (i.e. gender, age, occupation, household income, commute to work) and questions seeking citizen perceptions about existing services, characteristics of the City and future wants/needs. Input is highly encouraged and is key to ensuring that you have an active role in shaping Streetsboro’s future.
The survey will be available for 30 days beginning mid-day Tuesday 3/12/13. Please note that the survey will be limited to one response per computer in order to ensure equal participation. Please be a part of shaping the future of Streetsboro.
