Engineering Department
About
City
of Streetsboro’s Engineering Department, located at City Hall, is
an integral part of the City’s day-to-day operation.
The department works closely with the City’s Planning, Building
and Service Departments to ensure that not only proper procedures are
in place, but that projects run smoothly for the property owners
(residents & businesses), surveyors, realtors, architects,
engineers, and developers.
The Engineering Department provides plan reviews for and advises the
Planning Commission and City Council on technical matters related to
new development and construction.
Also, the City Engineer works with other governmental entities, such as
the Portage County Engineer, and other County agencies, State of Ohio,
and Federal Agencies, to acquire funds for roads and bridge
construction, flooding issues, waterlines, storm sewers and other
required projects.
