Issue 3 - Work outside Streetsboro
Streetsboro residents who work outside Streetsboro and pay 2% or more city income tax to the city where they work

Passage of Issue 3 will enact a 2% Streetsboro City Income tax credit. Those currently paying 2% or more in city income tax to another community will realize a reduction in their total city income tax payment.
Issue 3 is not a property or sales tax. Your property or sales taxes will not increase.
Passage of Issue 3 will provide over $2 million dollars of additional revenue yearly for the City of Streetsboro, the majority of which will be paid by those living outside of Streetsboro.
Passage of Issue 3 will ensure the continuation of Streetsboro City services along with providing funding for future improvements.
For example, a Streetsboro resident working outside the City with an income of $50,000 and paying the outside city 2% currently pays $1000 to the outside city and $500 to Streetsboro for city income tax. With the passage of Issue 3 that same
resident will now pay $1000 to the outside city and be credited for the full 2%
income tax owed to Streetsboro saving the Streetsboro resident $500.
