The Finance Department processes, records, and reports all financial activity of the City of Streetsboro. These areas of responsibility include the preparation and maintenance of the annual operating budget; monthly financial reporting; preparation and filing of all County, State and Federal reporting requirements; processing of cash receipts; disbursement of funds to meet the obligations of the City; fixed asset accounting; payroll; investments; and commercial/liability insurance.



 
INCOME TAX

The City’s tax rate is 2%. Residents receive 100% credit for income taxes paid to other cities up to 2% of their income taxable by the City of Streetsboro.

Regional Income Tax Agency (R.I.T.A.) administers and collects all income taxes and serves as an Agent of the City in this capacity. All payments for municipal income taxes, for current or prior tax years are to be sent to R.I.T.A. and not to the City of Streetsboro. All checks or money orders are to be made payable to Regional Income Tax Agency (R.I.T.A.).
