The city is offering a new service to our income – eligible senior and disabled home owners.
The program will allow you to get your lawn mowed, your leaves raked and snow plowed if you are over 65 (or disabled) and have an annual gross income within limits set by the Federal government. We fully understand that some of you may want these services but may not fit into the income guidelines. Please know that if it was up to us, we’d make this more flexible. However, we are constrained by what we can offer, and to whom, by Federal regulations governing the Community Development Block Grant program.
We don’t have any control over the income limits but we do know that there are some people out there that could use this service.
